Jemma Rix (Elsa in Disney's Frozen the Musical) in Gina Kim's Lille Dress

Jemma Rix will be performing the lead role of Elsa in the Brisbane season of Disney's Frozen the Musical, direct from Broadway, at QPAC (Queensland Performing Arts Centre). 

The star will be wearing the couture designer gown by Gina Kim, the Lille Dress, to launch the premiere performance in Brisbane on Saturday, February 12.  Jemma Rix previously performed as Elphaba in Wicked at QPAC in 2015.

In an interview with The Courier Mail, Jemma said, "I felt like a supermodel. It's not everyday that you get to glam up and look that beautiful. Getting to highlight the amazing talent of this local Queensland designer was such an honour."

Courtney Monsma, playing Anna in Frozen the Musical, will also be wearing a gown by Gina Kim for the occasion. 

The live show runs at the Lyric Theatre, QPAC, until April 24, 2022.

The Lille Dress worn Jemma Rix for the red carpet opening performance belong to Gina Kim's made-to-order collection. The couture, cream-coloured dress is made of pleated mesh lace ruffle fabric. Lille Dress is backless and features a halter neckline and angle cut skirt hemline.
